Open a mobile Notary service. I guess if you don't really need the money and you are doing it for spending money then it could be possible, but as someone who went into this fulltime it is not going to make you rich and it is hard work just like any other business. you will work longer hours and have to spend alot of time traveling in your car ( cause if your are not then you aren't making any money. When you are not notarizing documents then you are in front of your computer signing up with agencies, on the phone looking for work or you are at meetings with title companies and loan companies selling your service to them. This is just the loan side of things know we come to the general notary work that means you are out at retirement homes, hospitals, the jail, attorney's office all in the pursuit of getting more work and it never ends.

Now I don't want anyone to think that I don't like this work, I love my business and would not want to give it up for anything, but I don't ever want to give anyone the impression that it is easy or that it is make a million dollars while sitting home without doing anything, in the upcoming post i will go through the steps that you need to consider and the problems that you will face and some ideas on how you can over come them.

Next time: If you are doing this for a business then you need a plan

By staying friendly and passing along things I can’t do to them they do the same to me, and recently when one of them decided to close shop they sent all their customers to me, because they said they knew I would do a good job. I think that we need to take a look at the long view of your business and decide, what is the best thing you can do for your business. You can see the competition as the enemy and close yourself off to them or you can try and get along with them and hopefully help each other out. I think that in the long run it will help your business. I am sure you will find those that take advantage of you but for the most part it will help your business and besides those who do take advantage will not be in business long because they will use every opportunity to take advantage and will soon be found out.
